Before sending files: Do not send confidential CAD files, trade secrets or sensitive personal information. Only send material you are authorized to share. Use a non-confidential sample or a screenshot with sensitive content removed. Unsolicited attachments may be declined or deleted without review.

Open Learn on the welcome screen. Start covers the basics; Guides explains individual tasks; Tips gives short suggestions. The free sample is a safe place to practise.
Which files can I open?
Binary and ASCII STL models, plus STL-based .pocketadditive projects. STEP/STP is not supported in this release. Export an STL from your CAD tool and confirm its units when opening it. Rejected files do not consume a free try.
Why can I see a model but not its weight?
A mesh can display even when it has open boundaries, intersecting surfaces, or inconsistent triangle directions. Read the geometry findings in Model. You can continue inspecting, then repair or re-export a copy in desktop software. Confirm the source units and material density.
Why is the total weight missing?
Every included component needs a known value. Part weight, supports and extra structures, and the once-per-build waste allowance are separate. Read the message beside the result. Unknown weight is not treated as zero.
How do I move a review to another device?
Save an editable .pocketadditive project through Files, then open that copy on the other device. A summary image is a separate export. The current version has no live project synchronization. Portable projects include model data, private notes, and quotation inputs; review your sharing destination.
Does my subscription work on iPhone and iPad?
Use the same App Store account and choose More options → Restore Purchases. Purchases are managed by Apple. Models, machine profiles, material libraries, and the free-file allowance remain local to each device.
What happens when Pro expires?
Previously admitted models and projects remain accessible. Opening additional distinct files beyond the free allowance and saving reusable paid libraries require active Pro access. Reopening a file does not use another try, and deleting one does not replenish the allowance.
What does Review status mean?
Tap the pill beside Source to see the current issues and the relevant next action. It can identify incomplete inputs, geometry findings, or machine-fit concerns. No alerts does not mean a model is approved to print.
Does PocketAdditive produce a printer-ready build?
No. It provides model inspection, measurements, quantity estimates, and review guidance. It does not generate production toolpaths or simulate stress, thermal distortion, suction forces, or failure probability. Complete production preparation in your desktop workflow.
How can I share a diagnostic report?
Use More options → Help → Share diagnostic report, then choose the recipient. Reports are shared only when you choose to send them. You can describe the issue by email without attaching a confidential model.
Your models stay on your device.
The current app processes models locally and does not automatically upload them to the publisher. Files you choose to share or save to a cloud provider are handled by that service. Device backups depend on your operating-system settings.
